Surprise Issue

On September 10, I published the issue titled “Insult to Special Olympians-!” This issue had only one image and only 191 words.

Unexpectedly, it soared to the top spot among 194 issues, sparking curiosity and intrigue.

It's also a mystery to me, and I'm as surprised as you are about its No. 1 status.

The Substack states, "the total number of times this post has been viewed across web, email, and the Substack App. If one person views this post five times, that counts as five views.”

I have only 731 subscribers, but only 52% of these subscribers opened this issue.

I theorized that sympathetic Special Olympics readers forwarded copies to their friends supporting this organization.
