Re: What did you do last week?
Monday: Feb. 17
I reminded The Fulcrum to publish a guest commentary titled "Misunderstandings of the Amateur Sports Act of 1978.” I learned that it was first submitted on August 30.
Unfortunately, they have not yet published it as of now.

I urged the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee to respond to the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” Executive Order released on February 5.
Regrettably, the Committee has yet to respond.
The waiting time is 20 days.
Wednesday, Feb 19
I emailed the Office of Rep. Deborah Ross to inquire if Congresswoman Ross has reintroduced the bill, “Safer Sports for Athletes Act of 2025,” when the new Congressional session opened on January 3.
I have not gotten any response.
The waiting time is 53 days (1 month and 22 days)

Again, I reminded the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee to comply with one recommendation of the Commission on the State of U.S. Olympics & Paralympics: “USOPC should work with the U.S.A. Deaf Sports Federation to remove impediments to its full use of Deaflympic trademarks and access to sponsorships.”
Unfortunately, the Committee has not taken action yet.
The waiting time is 356 days (11 months and 19 days)

I emailed Ju'Riese Colón, CEO of the U.S. Center for SafeSport, to remind her of her 09/06/23 promise to apply the federal Plain Writing Act of 2010 in the SafeSport courses.
I haven't seen her response in my inbox.
The waiting time is 538 days (1 year, 5 months, and 19 days)
We, federal employees, have repeatedly tried to persuade these recipients to respond.
We strongly suggest that you develop the federal guidelines for the recipients.
You might be free to discuss this with my director, Bob Poling.
I appreciate your taking the time to read my one-week performance.
