I realized that I released the first issue of Amerideaf’s Newsletter on August 15. Just a little over a month ago! So it is the one-month anniversary!
Thank you for reading.
Whoa. I have yet to master running Amerideaf’s Newsletter, but I will try to do better in the second month.
If you want to send me any feedback or questions, email me at howardgorrell@aol.com.
My second issue needs to get more views. Click “West Virginian?”
Update on the 2023 USOPC Assembly
The annual meeting of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee was over in Los Angeles last Saturday. I guess that the USOPC brasses secretly punted the 24-year-old request for the recogization of the Deaflypmics to the Commission on the State of U.S. Olympics and Paralympics.
The Sports Examiner ran the sub-article, “USOPC looking for ways to preserve collegiate sport.”
Errata:
One typo error is in the “Top Ten Views To Read.”
It says, “President’s Council on Olympic Sports.” It should be “President’s Commission on Olympic Sports.”
My apology to Michael Harrigan, the former Executive Director of the latter, who found the error. Thanks to his sharp eyes.
