Cool newsletter, Dad-!
What a lovely three words, Daughter!
I found another “cool newsletter” — “How I Write the Best Newsletter in the World,” written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

As a Substack writer, I have a dashboard. Oh, boy, it is hard to navigate it.
Sadly, my second “paid” newsletter, “Deaflympian Families - Part One,” has not reached free subscribers yesterday. Only paid subscribers read it. Sorry!
Tonight I will release the third one - “Deaflympian Families - Part Two.” Tomorrow the fourth one, “Hollywood-type Films about Deaflympians,” will come out.
Don’t worry; you can read these issues when you become a paid subscriber.
Update on USA Deaf Swimming Superstar Carli Cronk
Top Picture: Carli Cronk, 18, a Churchill High School of Hill Country Village, TX senior, won 12 gold medals in the swimming events in the 2022 Summer Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul, Brazil — the most gold medals that anyone has won in a single Deaflympics. As of 11:00 pm ET, Cronk has collected seven golds and one silver (mixed relay) with few events left. She recently committed to the University of Notre Dame in the Fall of 2024.
SUDDENLY, the Facebook page of USA Deaf Swimming is removed three times in two weeks!
It first happened in late July. Cronk’s father (Mark) used all the published appeal procedures without a response. He suspected these decisions had been AI. Then, he got an idea — by calling Meta. The Meta staffer realized it was a mistake.
On August 5, the Facebook page got restored.
Last night this page was removed again. Mark appealed, and Meta immediately republished it.
Again, it was removed this early morning for the third time! As of 11 pm ET, the page is still silent. Mark exclaimed, “A glitch in their AI.”
Facebook was their primary means of communicating with fans, supporters, and sponsors.
Good night-!
