So far, only six of the 16 members have been nominated – half of which have to be current or former athletes. It’s hard to know how the Commission is going to work, but it could ask for many more changes in the way the USOPC (United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee) operates and spends its money."

Only six members of this group have been named – out of 16 – and its report is due, under the statute, by the end of July 2021! It could recommend a change to the statute, and the power to displace the USOPC Board will only be activated on 30 October 2021."
